To close out Latin Heritage Month, we’ve teamed up with our fam at Almave, to take you on a curated sonic journey of discovery with all the flavor beyond the proof. We begin with Humo y Raíces, a playlist that moves like smoke through memory, carrying the spirit of Puebla, Oaxaca, and the caminos between the Sierra Madre Oriental and Occidental. Here, Adrián Quesada, Hermanos Gutiérrez, Cochemea, and La Lom conjure a moody Latin Western dream where guitarras echo across desert canyons, and cumbia-inspired rhythms rise like heartbeat beneath the dust. It’s music for reflection and ritual, best paired with an Almave Humo neat, a nod to the roots that keep us grounded while we wander.

Then we turn the record to the A-Side, Amor y Despecho. This is where the living room glows warm, where stories of love and loss unfold in the voices of mujeres who pour their hearts into song. Lido Pimienta, Silvana Estrada, Natalia Lafourcade, Renée Mooi, Letón Pé, Buscabulla, and Amber Lucid fill the air with tenderness and truth. Between strums of acoustic guitar and tender synths, you can hear both the ache and the healing, a sonic embodiment of cariño and catharsis. This is the moment to sip Almave Ámbar on the rocks, letting every note remind you that love, even in its unraveling, is what makes us human.

As the day fades, the pulse rises. Welcome to the B-Side: Lunatrónica. The air thickens with after-hours electricity, where mischief and motion intertwine. From the cosmic disco of Budaya and Disco Bahía to the synth-laced grooves of YoSoyMatt, Midnight Generation, Destino Sonido, and Girl Ultra, this mix captures that unmistakable Latin nightlife magic: sensual, spontaneous, alive. It’s a window-down, city-lights moment and the one where your body takes over and you stop thinking altogether. Pour an Almave Blanco Paloma, and let the rhythm take you home.

Together, these three soundscapes form a full circle, from smoke to soul to sweat. Each sip, each song, and each beat reminds us that Latin identity is not one sound but a spectrum, ancient and futuristic, tender and fierce. So tap the link, press play, and raise a glass with our friends at Almave, for the sounds that shape us, and the spirit that keeps us in motion.
