2023 Shows We’re Thankful For

This year has been a wild musical ride for the Tigre team. We’ve had the opportunity to team up with several incredibly talented artists and hosted the here in Miami.

Big love to the artists, the venues, partnerships, and you – the epic souls who turn every show into an unforgettable party. Rewind with us and relive some of our favorite shows of the year.

April 13th- La Dame Blanche

La Dame Blanche had all of Miami Beach Bandshell on their feet with a mix of hip hop, cumbia, female empowerment, and dancehall. A singer, flautist, and percussionist from Cuba but based in France, it was a mix of absolute musical bliss.

La Dame Blanche returns to Miami to take over the ZeyZey stage tonight on Thanksgiving Eve, November 22nd. We couldn’t be luckier to have the opportunity to bring artists like this to Miami and share their magic. Tickets here.

April 20th- La Cassandra

We held the highly anticipated release party for La Cassandra’s “Lagrimas” album at The Anderson. The venue filled with an electric energy, making it clear attendees were eager to celebrate and experience the album. It was more than just a celebration of an album release, it was a celebration of the human spirit and of the importance of connection.

April 22nd- Fania All Stars Tribute

Our heartfelt tribute to the Fania All-Stars featured an incredible lineup of talented salseros from around the world and special guest, Aymée Nuviola. It was the ultimate salsa dance party. Under the direction of Ronald Quiroz, a 13-piece salsa band kept everyone on their feet as artists including Leslie Cartaya, Anthony Almonte, and Julio Cesar took the stage. The unsuspecting loading dock entrance set the tone for the night: an underground and nostalgic extravaganza.

May 19th- SUSU

Music lovers were treated to an extraordinary and otherworldly experience at the one-night-only live performance by SUSU at the renowned venue, Ace Props Miami. The air filled with genre-bending, supernatural, and shapeshifting sounds that oozed from the groove of SUSU, captivating the audience from the moment they took the stage.

June 21st- Hermanos Gutierrez

As the sun set on the longest day of the year, guitar duo Hermanos Gutierrez took the stage at the Miami Beach Bandshell for a sold-out show. Before the performance, there was even a standby line wrapping around the block. By the time the brothers took the stage, the crowd was ready — and already a little sweaty. The heat of the summer solstice in Miami didn’t stop the audience from having a great time.

July 12th- Meridian Brothers

Our free summer Global Concert Series with Rhythm Foundation came to a mesmerizing close with the Meridian Brothers lighting up the stage at the Miami Beach Bandshell. It was an unforgettable evening filled with delectable psychedelic vibes that left the audience on a high. The Meridian Brothers music transcended boundaries and took the audience on a euphoric journey through genres, cultures, and emotions.

July 15th- Tato Marenco & Sinego

During ZeyZey Miami’s inaugural weekend, the electrifying talents of Tato Marenco and Sinego commandeered the main stage, establishing a vibrant and captivating atmosphere with their dynamic musical performances. The stage was set for a weekend filled with pulsating sounds and unforgettable moments.

July 28th- Que Viva la Salsa ft. Mickey Perez

We partnered with Coconut Cartel at ZeyZey Miami for an incredible night of 70s boogaloo and salsa with delicious vinyl selections by DJ Mickey Perez, a mesmerizing flute performance by Domenica, and percussion with Jose Javier Freire. Randy Santos hosted an amazing salsa class. Krishna Villar blessed us with a  groovy opening set, and Alberto Khoudari for shut down the disco.

Sept 2nd- La Lom

On Saturday, September 2nd, during Labor Day weekend, ZeyZey Miami came alive with an evening brimming with sabrosura. We hosted La Lom for their Miami debut, as they arrived from LA, infusing the night with their flavorful Cumbia rhythms. It was a delightful experience, with the air filled with the global grooves curated by Alberto Khoudari and Luiza Solano.

Sept 3rd- Hermanos Gutierrez (DJ Set)

Wrapping up Labor Day weekend in style, Hermanos Gutierrez took over Medium Cool Miami, spinning vinyl alongside the mesmerizing beats of Adrian M. Quesada, the rhythmic vibes of Jason Joshua, and the electrifying tunes curated by Mike Deuce. A night brimming with soul, ritmo, and sazon.

Sept 15th- Nickodemus (Live) & Sinego

ZeyZey Miami came alive for Nickodemus’ “Soul & Science” album release party, where beats pulsated through the air. The crowd grooved to the rhythms, and Sinego’s Disco DJ set elevated the energy further. It was a night of sonic celebration, uniting music enthusiasts in a dance-filled extravaganza.

November 10th- Balthvs & Gitkin

ZeyZey Miami was set aglow by the psychedelic funk vibes of Gitkin, a solo artist hailing from New Orleans. Prior to Gitkin, the stage was ignited by the Colombian trio, Balthvs, renowned for their eclectic and energetic style. Gitkin took the audience on a journey with his psychedelic world beats and electric energy, making it a night filled with pure delight. The turnout was absolutely fantastic, creating an atmosphere of musical magic that lingered in the air.
