LAMC takes NYC’s SummerStage: Photo Recap

New York City’s SummerStage is more than just a festival; it’s an iconic celebration of music and culture that transforms neighborhood parks across the five boroughs into vibrant stages. Offering both free and benefit shows, this performing arts festival brings together established and emerging artists from around the globe, spanning genres from jazz and hip-hop to indie rock, salsa, reggae, Afrobeats, and more.

This year, SummerStage honored the 25th anniversary of the Latin Alternative Music Conference and the Latin GRAMMYs with a star-studded lineup. Headlining was Colombia’s multi-Latin GRAMMY winner, Fonseca, masterfully played his contemporary pop with traditional folkloric rhythms. Spain’s Israel Fernandez, was also in appearance with enthralling flamenco sound. Adding to the excitement was Gia Fu, bringing all the sabrosura as the opening act of the night of a Latin celebration of sounds. With a win from Colombia in Copamerica it was an overall celebratory night for the books.

Photographers Cami on the CamVictor Bustos and Valerie Chaparro captured the energy of the unforgettable open-air concerts as music lovers danced and celebrated culture through NYC’s melting pot of endless sounds.
