Secondcity and Miguelle & Tons
Born in the UK, but raised in Chicago, Secondcity has a unique pan-Atlantic outlook on House and Techno music that takes influence from his exposure to both of these musical hotspots. As such, in the space of some 24 months, Rowan has accelerated into the collective consciousness of house heads around the world.

Nu Deco Ensemble ft. Joy Oladokun
Nu Deco kicks off 2024 with a return to the Miami Beach Bandshell. This performance will feature a special collaboration with rising superstar, singer-songwriter Joy Oladokun. Inspired by the genres of folk, R&B, rock, and pop, Oladokun’s music is heavily influenced by her experience as a queer person of color in the U.S. The night will also include Igor Stravinsky’s “Dumbarton Oaks Concerto,” an original work by the ensemble, and a re-imagination of the music of The Police.

Venezonix & Terror Cactus
Venezonix creates a magical fusion of Afro Venezuelan rhythms with electronic music and technology. Led by agpa, producer and founding member of Elastic Bond; the band’s debut EP “La Que Es” features collaborations with Betsayda Machado and Parranda el Clavo, as well as a selection of genre-bending explorations mixing traditional Venezuelan instruments with futuristic electronic textures.

Dance Theatre of Harlem
The New York Times called Dance Theatre of Harlem “one of ballet’s most exciting undertakings.” Now in its fifth decade, DTH has an extraordinary legacy based on thrilling performances and artistic excellence predicated on providing opportunity where none had existed before.

Tigre & ZeyZey Present: Nidia Gongora
Considered one of the foremost artists of the marimba music of the South Pacific region, and a guardian of the oral tradition, Colombian folklore singer-songwriter Nidia Góngora fronts leading regional outfits including Grupo Canalon and plays a key role as a counselor to younger groups. Now based in the city of Cali, Góngora was born into a musical family in the Afro-Colombian community of Timbiquí.

Willy Chirino
Combining the musical traditions of Cuba with American rock and jazz, Cuba-born and South Florida-based vocalist and bandleader Willy Chirino helped to create the “Miami sound” of salsa music.

Mitchum Yacoub
Mitchum is an Egyptian-American multi-instrumentalist, producer, and DJ based out of San Diego, CA. As a lifelong drummer that has supported many projects in the vein of afrobeat, soul, funk, and reggae, he’s been slow brewing a unique feel for roots and dance music.

Dumpstaphunk
Dumpstaphunk stands out amongst New Orleans’ best, cementing themselves as one of the funkiest bands to ever arise from the Crescent City. Born on the Jazz & Heritage Festival stage, and descended from Neville and Meters family bloodlines, these soldiers of funk ignite a deep, gritty groove that dares listeners not to move. Their performances combine ingenious musicianship through complex funk, rock, and jazz arrangements accompanied by soulful melodies and Big Easy traditions.

GroundUP Music Festival
GroundUP stands tall amidst the Miami music scene with a different kind of festival experience. Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater
Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater grew from a now-fabled performance in March 1958 at The 92nd Street Y in New York City. Led by Alvin Ailey and a group of young African American modern dancers, that performance changed forever the perception of American dance.

Coco & Breezy
Coco & Breezy are Producers & DJs and the fiercely stylish twins behind their multifaceted brand. Their musical journey was influenced by their family and grew into a deep passion for dance music culture. Post moving to New York to launch their eyewear company, C&B submerged themselves into changing the face of dance music and what it means to be a technically accomplished Afro-Latina women DJs and producers.

Combo Chimbita
After years of honing their skills and voices, Colombian psychedelic band Combo Chimbita, has been able to dive profoundly into the roots of their culture the best way they know how: through music. With complex layers of live, funk-fueled instrumentals on a bed of electronic foundations, the music fits a similar cosmic mold of jamtronica acts like Beats Antique and Quantic. Pair that with a heavy shower of folkloric harmonies, chanting, and powerful guacharaca rhythms–all emblazoned by front-woman, Carolina Oliveros’ soulful vocals, and you’re called to action whether you speak Spanish or not. The result is a mesmerizing experience, as if we stumbled upon an ancient ritual for the gods driven by the divine feminine.

Chuchos Valdes & Irakere 50
The most influential figure in modern Afro-Cuban jazz for more than half a century, virtuoso pianist, composer and arranger Chucho Valdés returns with Irakere 50, the new iteration of the legendary band that changed the course of Latin music in the 1970s and 80s.

Locos Por Juana Presents: Locos Por Marley
Locos Por Marley celebrates the musical legacy of Bob Marley and the Wailers. Locos por Juana is a GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY nominated bilingual band, most notably recognized for their high energy live performances and unique fusion of reggae, funk, cumbia, salsa, and rock.

Gilberto Santa Rosa
Puerto Rican singer and songwriter Gilberto Santa Rosa is the King of Salsa, Bachata, and Reggaeton. Santa Rosa is widely considered one of the most influential salsa singers of all time. His work has been covered by many other artists and he has been honored with numerous awards over the course of his career.

Julieta Venegas
Julieta Venegas is a multi-Grammy Award winning Mexican singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. She was a former member of the band “Tijuana No”. Julieta plays numerous instruments including acoustic guitar, accordion, and keyboard. She won the 2004 Latin Grammy for Best Vocal Rock Album (Sí).

Las Migas
The four women of Las Migas come from four different cities that span not only the geography of Spain but also its cultural diversity. They all came to the group with one common passion: flamenco. You can hear it in the rhythms of the guitarists, the fluttering violin lines, and the raw power of the vocals.
