In a country as expansive as Brazil, we suppose we shouldn’t be surprised at the number of talented musicians that have crept their way into our playlists, across all genres. For indie pop fans, check out this colorful Brazilian duo, Clara x Sofia, who debuted an intimate rendition of “Em Par” as part of VEVO’s At Home series earlier this week.
We love this simplified and raw version which elegantly displays the girls’ musical talent and sophisticated style. Vevo has a long history of helping emerging artists reach new audiences, a fact which understandably created great excitement for the singers when they learned that they were invited to perform. “I have been following Vevo DSCVR for a long time, so receiving this invitation was an unbelievable surprise! On the day of the recording, we were in the living room of my house, recording and being directed by video call with the entire Vevo international team. It was magical!”, says Clara Campara.
