On Thursday April 20th, we held the highly anticipated release party for La Cassandra’s “Lagrimas” album at The Anderson, and it was a night to remember. The venue filled with an electric energy, making it clear attendees were eager to celebrate and experience the album.
The show was nothing short of mesmerizing, with La Cassandra pouring her heart and soul into every song. You can hear the full album here. It became clear that this was more than just a celebration of an album release. It was a celebration of the human spirit and of the importance of connection. The room was filled with a diverse crowd, all brought together by a shared love of music and a desire to connect with others.
Taking the stage after La Cassandra, Javier Garcia joined out outstanding house band, Las Raizes de Tigre and friends for an epic Tigre jam that was accompanied by a show-stopping Global groove set by DJ Tomi Jonas.
The evening was a powerful reminder that even in a world that can feel increasingly divided, there are still spaces where people can come together and find common ground. And on this night, that space was The Anderson, where La Cassandra, Javier Garcia and Miami’s music lovers came together to celebrate “Lagrimas” and the beauty of community.
