Red Bull Guest House returned to Miami for the first-ever, Miami Grand Prix. Taking over the Faena Miami Beach, Red Bull Guest House welcomes a new golden era of racing lifestyle. On May 6-8, Red Bull curated a world-class dining and music experience, thoughtfully curating a supreme guest list of industry leaders, athletes, culture shapers, artists, musicians, and race fans. With three nights of incredible curations, Red Bull shed light on the nostalgic feeling of the sport’s 1960s and 1970s golden era. Hence, a beautiful collaboration was born between our very own Tigre sounds and Red Bull Guest House, presenting “Raíces,” on the Opening Night of the Miami Grand Prix.
The events that unfolded over the course of these three memorable days aren’t ones we’re soon to forget. With the energy of enthusiasm in the air, we came together with other multi-talented and multi-cultural global citizens, representing the cultural fabric of Miami and emerging talent from intercontinental rhythms. Some of these noteworthy artists include Cuba’s Brenda Navarrete, Nickodemus from New York, Italy’s Gabriel Poso, Sinego from Mexico / Colombia, Richie Hell from Argentina, Miluhska from Ecuador and Peru, Roujeee Tunes from Miami, and Colombia’s Maure. Part of what made the evening so interesting from an artistic standpoint is the fusion born between live instrumentation, mixed with the electronic beats from around the world. Performing side by side, like drummer Brenda Navarrete and artist Sinego, the two created an unexpected magical duo. These performances embody all the nationalities that make up the essence of the Magic City as we know it today, and we were proud to host such powerhouses in the same place at the same time.
Welcoming in special hotel guests with DJ Maure for a “surprise on the beach,” guests were walked to the beach accompanied by a chorus of various drums from Batucada by Bofré. Once on the beach, they were able to witness an airshow scored by curator, producer, artist, and Wonder Wheel’s founder, Nickodemus. Afterwards, guests enjoyed a beautiful outdoor dinner along Miami’s most treasured beaches, visually paired with art installations from talented Art Director and creator of parallel universes, Orly Anan (Colombia / Israel / Mexico, with music from Nickodemus, merged with live percussion from Gabriel Poso. As dinner ended, multi-talented musician, Brenda Navarrete, made her Miami debut with her memorable live performance. Last, but certainly not least, artists including Sinego, Brenda Navarrete, Richie Hell, Miluhska, and Roujeee Tunes took over different rooms within Faena, giving different musical experiences for guests to choose from.
Our weekend spent with Red Bull is a testimony to what can happen when artists from various parts of the world come together to create, leaving a lasting impression on those who are able to share in an energy that permeates. Thank you to the family at @redbullusa and the Corso team for giving us wings, and for giving us the space to unite such talent under one beautiful roof. Thank you to Daniel Zuliani and Alejandro Pazmiño for the vibes photographs and to Saul Cuevas for the epic graphics.
